Here we review the Ibiza Real Estate Market during this first semester of 2022.
While Ibiza is experiencing an amazing season with our visitors coming back with a vengeance, with clubs offering an extraordinary variety of parties delivered by the best DJ’s in the world and our restaurants are raising the bar delivering culinary delights in magical locations.
New hotels, new restaurants & clubs, sports events, retreats and happenings, all deliver a huge choice of options for everybody, making the island a very unique experience for all.
The real estate market has seen a significant pick up in transactions in the past 18 months and prices are at all time highs. It has been very, very busy!
New developments continue to sell briskly, renovated fincas, and to be renovated, are in high demand as are luxury apartments, high quality product remains scarce and buyers from all over the world looking to buy into a slice of this paradise.
We expect demand to be fairly robust but we do expect to see prices consolidate in coming quarters following several years of increases and in the face of current social, political and economic uncertainties.
We do not expect to see any significant price falls and demand for quality will remain fairly strong as the island continues to consolidate as a premium destination, as well as an attractive lifestyle option for many high net worth individuals & families looking to spend a all or parts of the year in Ibiza.
Ibiza tends to move in 10 year cycles; 7 years of price increases followed by consolidation for 3 years.
We are probably 6 months into the price consolidation period.
Not a bad time to be buying!
